Neighborhood Protocol

Community Standards

01. The Spirit of Alora

At its heart, Alora is designed to restore the "human" element to local trade. We aren’t just a database of objects; we are a network of neighbors. Our standards exist to ensure that every interaction—from the first message to the final handshake—is rooted in dignity and trust.

02. Our Core Commitments

Integrity

Be honest about what you are selling. High-trust trade relies on accurate descriptions and fair pricing. Fraudulent listings or attempts to mislead neighbors are removed on sight.

Civil Discourse

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. Whether you're negotiating a price or reporting a concern, we expect the conversation to remain professional and respectful.

03. The Neighborhood Watch

We believe in a community-led approach to safety. Rather than using impersonal bots to decide what is "good" or "bad," we rely on you to help us maintain a high standard of quality.

01

The Three-Report Threshold

If a listing receives three separate reports from different neighbors, it is automatically moved into a "Pending Review" state.

02

The Safety Pause

While pending review, the listing is temporarily hidden from public search results. This protects the community while our team investigates the situation.

03

The Final Audit

Every hidden listing is audited by a moderator. If the reports are verified, the listing is removed. If it follows our rules, it is restored to the marketplace immediately.

04. Our Responsibility to You

Transparency is our final standard. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict accounts that pose a genuine risk to our neighbors' safety.

If your listing is moved to review or removed entirely, we will send you a direct system message explaining the situation and, whenever possible, providing a path to resolve the issue.
